Castries, Saint Lucia – The Cultural Development Foundation and the Carnival Queen Pageant Committee will present the official “Auditions” for the 2012 Carnival Queen pageant, this Sunday 20th May, 2012 at the National Cultural Centre from 1:00 pm. The selection panel will evaluate the girls on criteria ranging from intelligence, talent, confidence and general knowledge to beauty, grace and charm. Needless to add, it will be those who display that inherent elegance and intelligence that will catch the panels’ attention.

The Carnival Queen Pageant has a twenty-five year history of presenting vibrant, intelligent, and articulate Saint Lucian women. Each individual is not only vying for the Carnival Queen title but also looking forward to be St. Lucia’s Ambassador in other regional and international shows during the year of her reign.

The Foundation therefore invites the general public to attend and look forward to the excitement during the auditions as the atmosphere will be charged with a spellbinding presence, embellished with finesse and class.

The 2012 Carnival Queen Pageant Auditions on Sunday, 20th May, will commence from 1:00 pm at the National Cultural Centre. Tickets for the auditions are EC$10.00 and will be sold at the gate.
